District 1 Mask Mandate Still In Effect

February 10, 2021

Attention Dover Residents! Idaho is in Stage 3.

The Panhandle Health District Board of Health voted to approve a mandatory mask mandate for all of District 1, which includes the five northern counties of Idaho (Benewah, Boundary, Bonner, Shoshone, and Kootenai), effective immediately.

This requires everyone to wear a face covering that completely covers their mouth and nose when in a public place and 6ft distancing cannot be maintained.

The mandate will remain in effect for approximately 90 days, up to and including the April 2021 Board of Health meeting where it will be revisited.

As of yesterday, there are a total of 574 active COVID-19 cases in Bonner County, with 2,844 cases in total.
