As you’re all aware this winter has presented some interesting challenges with heavy snow, freezing and rain events.
In order for us to keep our roads maintained this winter we are asking for your cooperation with off-street parking during winter storm events. This includes any construction vehicles, equipment or materials, boats and trailers.
There may be times that snow berms accumulate which may require some shoveling by residents, this is not uncommon and maintenance staff do what they can to minimize this issue. You may have a need to shovel your driveway entrance or around your mail receptacle.
If you have any questions or complaints, please call directly to City Hall. Independent Highway District takes direction from City Hall, not individual residents. We ask that you not approach snow plow trucks and drivers as this could become a safety issue.
